Join us, Sundays at 10:30 am!
God is too big to be contained to one day of the week.
However, we find it incredibly valuable (not to mention biblical) to meet together on a weekly basis for worship, teaching, prayer, fellowship, and breaking bread together. We celebrate communion every Sunday. We value the Bible (read, sung, and preached). We love and follow Jesus. We value creativity. We love & serve our kids & neighbors.
Sunday worship reorients us towards the things that matter most: loving God and neighbor. Sunday worship sends us out into the city rooted in Christ, for the flourishing of our neighbors.
Location & Parking
Parking in Seattle is a challenge, but thankfully there are several options available around United Evangelical Free Church on 80th & Mary.
- Church Parking Lot - just north of the church building is a lot that can hold about 20 vehicles. There are designated handicap spots in this lot.
- Home Street Bank - on the corner of 83rd St and 15th Ave, Home Street Bank has given us access to their lot on Sundays only.
- Street Parking - street parking is widely available on 80th and 83rd, just be mindful of not blocking our neighbors' driveways.
Here's what you can expect.
- Someone to greet you,
- Fantastic coffee,
- Some old songs, some new songs,
- Time to pray and listen,
- A chance to respond in gratitude with our life and resources,
- A sermon that brings together our words & world with the words & world of the Bible,
- Time to converse with new friends, and connect with old friends,
- A chance to encounter God; Father, Son, & Holy Spirit, as the one who loves, forgives, leads and sends us into the world.
Dress is casual, the community (ages brand-new to well-seasoned) is warm, and the coffee is excellent. In many ways, our time together in worship on Sundays is but a taste, a dress rehearsal if you will, of the ways we hope to respond to God throughout the rest of our weeks, in the other 6 days.
