“Dinner and a movie tonight?” 
“I dunno, what movie do you have in mind?”
Well, this February through April we are going to take in a series of video talks called Alpha. The Alpha Course is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life, the existence of God and the basics of the Christian faith. Each evening we’ll share a delicious meal, watch a video talk and have an open discussion time.
During the discussion, everyone is welcome to contribute their opinions and perspectives and no question is considered hostile or too simple. This is a time to explore and share what you think and why.
So if you are interested in investigating questions about purpose, the afterlife, why a good God allows suffering, the claims of Jesus or other spiritual questions, then mark your calendars for ten Wednesday evening dinner and a movie dates. This might also be the perfect thing to invite your friends to who keep asking you those tough questions like: ‘Is there more to life than this?’. Hey, that’s the topic of the introductory night’s video. You are welcome to join us for just the first night and see if it’s something you are interested in continuing with. No strings attached!
