Harbor Church
We’ve just begun our 3rd year at PATH (Preschool at the Harbor), with 10 children enrolled so far. We tend to get a few after preschool starts, or even in spring, so I’m hopeful there will be more children from around the neighborhood joining us as we go on. We have a few Sanctuary kiddos coming again this year – Judah Watrous, Caleb Jacobs, and Allister Mohrlang – and the rest are just from around the neighborhood. We’re excited to get to know our neighbors and invest in some children again this year!We also have our community garden running for the 3rd summer, with a bigger, better team of folks from the church invested in thinking of more ways to boost the community-building potential of the garden. Plus, we’ve been able to donate over 100 pounds of vegetables to the Aurora Commons so far, with much more to come.
Coming up, we’re looking ahead to our big outreach opportunities this fall (Halloween, a Thanksgiving food give-away, and a Christmas show from Taproot).
We’re excited to see what God has in store for us in the next few months!
