MEMBERSHIP

Membership at Sanctuary is a way to intentionally identify yourself with the community. There is no requirement for membership. One way to think about it is that members are the ones who have officially said, “Hit the ball to me!” when needs arise within the life of the community, whether in the areas of leadership, time, talents or financial resources.

Our Hopes for All Members
At Sanctuary we desire for each person committed to being a part of our faith community to commit to three things:

• Making Space for God in their Hearts through personal time in prayer and in the Word and participating in the corporate worship of Sanctuary.


• Making Space for God in our Relationships through investing in the lives of our brothers and sisters at Sanctuary and Greenwood and participating in a committed Small Group for the purpose of growing deeper in relationship with God and with others and for time in prayer.


• Making Space for God in our World through participation in outreach and service in Greenwood or whatever community you find yourself in the midst of. Our hope is that those in our faith community would invest of their time, talents and treasures in the ministry of the Green Bean coffee shop (Sanctuary’s open door to the community) as well as other justice, mercy and evangelistic ministries.

Upcoming Classes
Sanctuary has a new member’s class that consists of two or three after church sessions. The class is run about once or twice a year. Contact Mark for more information about becoming a member of Sanctuary and the next upcoming class.
